Livonia Passport to Safety returns on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Livonia Police & Fire Stations, offering families a fun, interactive way to learn essential safety skills. Kids can meet beloved characters like Sparky the Fire Dog, Freddie the Fire Truck, Click‑it‑Cricket, and McGruff the Crime Dog, all while collecting giveaways and filling their free event Passport with stamps from each safety station. Throughout the day, visitors can explore hands‑on learning areas covering topics such as 911 training, automobile and bike safety, choking and poisoning prevention, internet safety, first aid, fire safety, food safety, personal safety awareness, and water safety.Highlights include free fitted bike helmets (while supplies last), a bike test track, healthy snack demonstrations, and the chance to build a mini first aid kit. Families can also enjoy food and drinks in the picnic area, watch K‑9 demonstrations, and experience the dramatic Jaws of Life Vehicle Extrication Demo.
