Celebrating 40 Years of Living Rock Ministries
For four decades, Living Rock Ministries has been a place of hope, belonging, and transformation for youth in Hamilton. What began 40 years ago as a response to the needs of vulnerable young people has grown into a community hub that engages, encourages, and equips youth aged 13–25 as they navigate life’s challenges and pursue their personal development goals.
In 2024 alone, Living Rock responded to over 22,000 visits, offering vital supports to youth facing obstacles such as family loss, poverty, mental health challenges, and substance use. We provide a continuum of care that includes food, clothing, showers, and laundry facilities, along with opportunities for education, employment training, life skills development, and community connection.
As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we pause to honour the thousands of youth who have walked through our doors, the community that has journeyed alongside us, and the staff, volunteers, and supporters who have made this work possible. Together, we look forward with thanksgiving and hope—committed to ensuring that Living Rock continues to be a safe, welcoming place for generations to come.
