It is designed as an engaging, uplifting night out to bring attention to telling that story - raising awareness by amplifying that truth and disrupting misconceptions to save lives.
Too many patients are told “no one survives that” when diagnosed with peritoneal cancers. They face similar negativity in the face of rigorous treatment that “doesn’t make a difference” for these advanced, complex cancers. These misconceptions delay proper treatment and cost lives. We MUST change the narrative!
This event will leverage extraordinary stories and talents to demonstrate to the world that diagnosis is not an end, it is just another beginning.
