The pansy is a symbol of love or admiration for another, free thinking, and secret courting. Pansies are also edible and make a great display of color in a punchbowl or on cupcakes! You can grow pansies outside once freezing temperatures break to the more subdued temperatures of April, which makes this class perfect timing for decorating doors, trellises, arbors, outdoor tables, fences, or even laying the wreath on a stump or unused birdbath! You will use a heavy-duty wire frame that is coated in plastic (one that can be used over and over for years), lined with Oregon moss, and planted with pansies to make this creation. (Oregon moss is very thick, which makes it outstanding for holding together, unlike other moss varieties.)
