About this Event
This deep listening event is an opportunity for the Los Angeles community to gather, listen, grieve, sing, and feel the presence of one another. The event will be lead by Resonance Collective artistic director Fahad Siadat in collaboration with Jahan Yousaf of the EDM duo Krewella and vocalist/music technologist Fabricio Cavero.
This event is donation based and all proceeds will be used to support victims of the fires.
While raising money is an important part of helping people get through this difficult time, so is making space to simply be together with our listening and our voices. If you need such a space, you’re welcome. If you want to make a donation, great. If you don’t have the energy to show up, but can support financially, that’s fine too. We’ll be there for anyone who comes whether it’s 3 people or 100.
If you are able to give, suggested donation is $20-$100. Thank you.

Jahan Yousaf is an independent songwriter, vocalist, producer, and international touring artist of the electronic dance music duo, Krewella, alongside her sister Yasmine. She is passionate about examining the relationship to the voice, and feelings around being heard, as a mirror for how we speak up & express our truth in the world. As a supporter of a humanitarian aid project in Pakistan called Nagar Women’s Health House, and a member of the artist advisory board for the nonprofit organization In Place of War, Jahan is inspired to use her platform, resources, and voice to foster community and uplift those overlooked by society.
