About this Event
This will be a facilitated and open sharing space. We will be sharing and processing our feelings about living in a world that harms non-human animals.
Our Vystopia Definition: The distress and existential crisis experienced by those who have discovered speciesism. The realisation that we live in a dystopian world that enslaves, tortures and murders non-human animals.
This session is aimed at people affected by difficult feelings from living in the Vystopia. This session is also open to new vegans and those who are not yet able to be living vegan for whatever reason. We are inclusive of those with eating disorders, low income, unhoused and humans otherwise suffering themselves. If you have a problem with this, please don't come.
What is a Sharing Circle?
Sharing Circles are a participatory practice - where we use active listening. Talking circles originate from Indigenous communities and have been used around the world throughout history. It is a great way to really hear each other, without interruptions.
