The talk will take place in the Magnolia Room of the UL Lafayette Union. David (St. Olaf College) is the author of the new book "Remembering the Cajun Past Memory, Race, and the Politics of Public History in Louisiana" (UMass Press, 2025). This presentation is sponsored by the Sen. Edgar “Sonny” Mouton Professorship in Liberal Arts.
