About this Event
Welcome to the LIVING/EDGE — a solo dance-theater playscape for the emotions, senses, and how we as people relate to grief. Created in response to the sudden and unexpected loss of a mother, this work plays in every corner of its performance. Through deep engagements with improvisation, choreography, grotesque and risk, LIVING/EDGE invites a plethora of feelings into the room to become more present, more filled with wonder, and to earnestly ask, “what happens after the big moment passes me by?”

This dance is a response. It takes the shape of memory. It’s about the bigly mess of living in the middle; about life as fluid, fading, always a feeling.

This performance is part of the Daredevil Arts Festival, a multi-weekend performing arts festival co-presented by Electric Lodge and Pacific Resident Theatre, celebrating bold voices and multidisciplinary storytelling in the Venice community.
