Come celebrate the re-release of Living Clipboards 2024 album 'All Over Tawa' on Leatherjacket Records in Dunedin on Friday 17 April with Living Clipboards joined by special guests Phaedra Love (Pearly) and Serial Crush.The re-release of the Living Clipboards album comes on splatter vinyl in an edition of 100. LP's $50 on the door, admission free!
Living Clipboards features Mark Williams, Denise Roughan and Jim Abbott, variously ex-MarineVille, Ghost Club, Look Blue Go Purple. The band came together in Wellington in 2022, borrowed a 4 track from the public library and recorded the lo-fi collection of pop tunes that became 'All Over Tawa'. Now with Denise and Jim based in Dunedin, Living Clipboards play a handful of gigs per year. Don't miss this opportunity to catch the Clippers and grab some splatter vinyl!
Also on the bill is Phaedra Love, singer-songwriter from indie darlings Pearly, also with an LP on Leather Jacket Records, and seen/heard at Port Noise. Phaedra is also one half of 'the Rat Girls' singing BV's on some new Clipboards recordings.
Serial Crush is a Dunedin 4 piece described as "dark, sultry rock".
