About this Event
How do our Black queer and trans communities love into each other as a political praxis inside a system of U.S. capitalism, exploitation and extraction? How are we finding our ways back to power and connection through struggling in love?
Join Ericka Hart, Ebony P. Donnley, Kamaria Weemz and special guests in a conversation about Black queer and trans love as a strategy, framework and guide.
Let’s gather and lift up our pathways that divest from the overwhelming violence of this political moment, strengthen our collective ties, and heal our way into liberatory world building.
Community Care Information
We highly encourage masking! If you don't have access to KN95 masks, don't worry, we will have plenty at the door. If you do not feel well or have come into contact with anyone with COVID or any other virus within 72 hours of our event, please stay home. Please mask with us to help reduce the risk of causing severe harm to our collective immune systems with a wide range of care needs.
In terms of physical access to Saint James Libations, the main entrance has 5 low-profile steps. There is a portable ramp we will put out for anyone using mobility devices to enter with ease. 1 Bathroom is located on the same level as the event space, with no stairs required. 2 more bathrooms are located in the lower level (1 flight of stairs down).
There are gender-neutral bathrooms, and guests are welcome to use whichever facilities you feel most comfortable with.
