Livestock Checkers Course - LANTRA accredited

The course covers animal health and welfare, the key legislation applying to livestock, the role and responsibilities of a stock checker and how to safely and effectively carry out livestock checks on site.

It intends to make participants feel more confident in their ability to check livestock and ensure they are aware of their responsibilities. This course will involve an indoor session learning about the theory and an outdoor session where participants will be able to meet some animals and develop their site risk assessment skills.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided free of charge.
