About this Event

Following on from the HUGE success of Lived Experiences in Melbourne, we are set to continue this exploration in Launceston in 2025.

Some feedback from the Melbourne participants...

"I have been to many events in this space in the past and this was undoubtedly the best event I have ever attended."

"The sharing of the personal stories from the speakers was so incredibly powerful."

"I have put so much into practice since that event! Thank you Tracey for putting together such an incredible weekend."

Why this event?

It can be tough to know what it takes to remain healthy or to return from illness. There is so much information out there, much of it conflicting, it can be virtually impossible to work it out. And even if we land on the truth, how do we use it to make real, sustained, changes in our lives?

The end goal of having health is usually the same. We want to feel alive, and vibrant, and have the physical energy we need to live a thriving life! However, while the end goal may be the same for all of us, the path we take to get there can look very different.

How have these health professionals navigated this?

This is what this 2-day seminar is about.

Over 2 incredible days, you will hear from several exceptional health professionals about their lived experiences in health and healing—both from their perspective and the perspective of their patients/clients.

Real-world, practical, and lived.

AGENDA AND SPEAKING TOPICS will be released in the coming months.

The Speakers

Tracey McBeath - Tracey is your host. The Health and Healing Coach – lives in Melbourne, Australia. She is a mum of 5, an author of two books, a global health and life coach and coach mentor, a Nutrition Network lecturer and mentor, a qualified personal trainer, a public speaker, and a podcaster. At 40 she was propelled to change her lifestyle after a fatty liver, prediabetes, and Hashimoto’s diagnosis. She has overcome sugar and processed food dependency, alcohol dependency, and co-dependency to heal her inner world. Now at nearly 51, she has never been leaner, healthier, and full of energy to keep up with her full and thriving life. Tracey shows people how to improve the physical health of their minds and bodies and overcome all the mental barriers to living a flourishing life. Tracey wrote her first book, You Have Today: 100 Insights That Will Change Your Life in 2021, her second book, The Daily Insight Companion in 2023, and in June 2023 she spoke at TEDx Katoomba on Becoming the Navigator of Your Own Life.

He is a world-renowned Sports Medicine Clinician and Researcher, formerly the Chief Medical Officer for the Australian Men's Cricket team. Carolyn has helped dozens of patients sustainably lose weight, as well as putting their type 2 diabetes, PCOS, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) into remission. Carolyn works with her patients to create an individual plan, utilising care plans and a high-quality team approach in particular incorporating the use of low-carb and ketogenic diets. She has also lived with Type 1 Diabetes for over 25 years, having been diagnosed during her first pregnancy. With a strong family history of Type 1 Diabetes, Jane was committed to adhering to all medical, pharmacological, and dietary advice when trying to achieve the best possible blood sugar control. Six years ago, Jane chanced upon an alternative method of managing her Type 1 diabetes: Dr Richard Bernstein’s “Law of Small Numbers”. Since adopting this method, contrary to today’s diabetes standard of care, she has achieved blood sugar in the non-diabetic range, using half the amount of insulin she previously required, as well as significantly improving her general health and quality of life.
