About this Event
This conference/workshop is an opportunity to liaise with representatives from HE, heritage and the cultural sector more broadly to discuss collaborations and co-productions rooted in 'lived experience'. It will include, throughout the day, extant examples from presenters, two expert plenaries, and a workshop to further develop ideas.
This event brings together scholars, heritage practitioners, archivists, librarians and other cultural professionals for a workshop on lived experience, participatory methods, and how they might be used to improve public engagement and enhance higher education offers.
This conference is part of a broader project, based at St Mary's University, which seeks to investigate best practice in these collaborations based on lived experience. It includes collaborative and coproduced partnership work with Hogarth's House and The Panacea Society which is on-going.
With funding from Research England through St Mary's University, Twickenham we are able to offer this conference at a reduced rate for all.
