Gunnar Gunnsteinsson
Gunnar Gunnsteinsson is a composer who seeks to weave together a narrative out of various genres, texts and field recordings. His latest LP A Janitor’s Manifesto was released by Futura Resistenza in 2023.
Ásthildur Ákadóttir & Brynjar Daðason
Ásthildur is a musician with a background in classical piano who rose to indie fame a few years ago with her critically acclaimed band Pascal Pinon. Brynjar is a guitarist/composer who has released solo music, collaborated with various artists and worked on film music. He released his debut record Pretty Late on Mengi Records in 2021. This is the debut performance from this duo, unveiling music they have been working on for the past few months.
Bridget Ferrill & Áslaug Magnúsdóttir
The Berlin-based Ferrill is a composer, engineer, and synthesizer builder. By venturing into the realm of extended instruments, handmade electronics and experimental computer music, she explores the interface between noise and composition. Áslaug Magnúsdóttir approaches instruments as a sculptor, pushing the boundaries of conventional music while also engaging in music programming, constructing interactive systems characterized by noise-based behaviors. The duo released the collaborative record Woodwind Quintet on Subtext in 2022.
