Celebrate President’s Day at the President’s Home! Live enactors engage with you and your guests as if it were 1891 and the Harrisons are home from the White House for a brief trip.
Tour through Benjamin Harrison’s beautiful 1874 Italianate Victorian home while masterful reenactors engage with you and your guests. Visit with the President in his library say hello to the butler in the back parlor see what the cooks are making in the kitchen and speak with Mrs. Harrison in the dining room.
This interactive experience is included in the price of admission.
Tours will be given at 10 AM 11 AM 12 PM 1 PM and 2 PM. Please note that reservations are required. Please check in for your tour at the Welcome Center located in the red barn behind the home.
Take a tour of this beautiful 10000 sq.ft. Italianate Victorian family home of President Benjamin Harrison – our country’s 23rd US President (1889-1893) and Indiana’s only President. Built in 1875 the home is beautifully furnished with many of Harrison’s paintings furniture and other artifacts including political memorabilia.
Tours begin on the hour include a docent-led experience through the two main floors of the Presidential Mansion and last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
