TRANSIT DOLLS, The RAIN GAUGE and SANCTIMONIOUS FUX, live, original rock and roll at the Pot. Doors 7.00pm. Music from 8.00pm. $10 at the bar.TRANSIT DOLLS
Transit Dolls are a high-voltage three-piece serving up a swaggering mix of glam attitude and ‘60s/‘70s grit. With a sound that welds sweet vocal melodies to heavy no-nonsense grooves, they bring the raw energy of classic pub rock into the modern age. Think stomping T. Rex beats, New York Dolls leads, nimble bass grooves, and a whole lotta reckless abandon. Loud and built for the stage—Transit Dolls are the band your beer would order if it had good taste.
The RAIN GAUGE
The Rain Gauge is a psychedelic guitar band from Canberra Australia, playing melodic guitar-driven pop/rock with some darker atmospheric edges. Some comparisons are Radiohead, The Church, Bowie, Beatles.
SACTIMONIOUS FUX
Post-punk Australian rock quartet formed in 2025 in Canberra. Blending punk energy, atmospheric effects, and occasional industrial bite, the band pairs lyricism with cathartic, propulsive arrangements. Their sound—driven by twin-guitar dynamics, and a rumbling low end—balances melodic immediacy with insistent rhythm. Fronted by songwriter/guitarist Greg Raymond, with lead guitarist Chris Finnegan, bassist Patrick O’Connor, and drummer Anna Judith, Sanctimonious Fux draw on Australian independent musical influences (Died Pretty, the Saints) and have been described as “existential grunge”.
