When Layloni Ghee puts on a show, you know it's a show. Since her humble beginning in 2008, Layloni has inspired and entertained audiences all across the USA with her exuberant joy and her stellar performances. Her music has been played and featured on radio, TV, podcasts and interviews. She has created a unique catalog of original songs that are mostly based in Rock music, but also contain elements of Country, Blues and Americana. Layloni's song, “Build”, showcases the guitar work of Adrian Conner, from the all-female AC/DC tribute band, “Hells Belles” The song is about sharing music, knowledge and inspiration with others, while encouraging the next generations to create and share in the wonderful world of music.
Layloni is no stranger to Billings music scene, she has appeared at numerous local establishments over the years and was featured at a “Fix At Six" event in Billings. Many of you may recognize her from previous area shows as front woman and manager of America's Liquor Down Band.
The Layloni Ghee Band is fronted by Layloni on vocals and bass guitar. Longtime bandmate, George “Slim” Thompson, articulates the sounds via the guitar. The group is home to several touring and studio drummers that are ready to play, record and travel, anytime. The Band also frequently features many special guest players. The Layloni Ghee Band is a family that has been creating, playing and recording for 17 years.
