About this Event
Join us for a crash corse on some of the world's most misunderstood creatures! This special workshop will briefly cover snakes as a whole. Topics will include how they interact with their environment, the diversity of snake species, the environmental threats they face, and their unique and amazing anatomy. To dive deep into just how unique their anatomy is, there will be a preserved snake dissection led by one of our knowledgeable naturalists! There will also be a meet and greet with a live snake owned by one of our naturalists. Don't worry, we won't be hurting our ambassador animal friends!
Whether you have a passing interest in snakes, a reptile fanatic, or wanting to overcome your fears, all are welcome! Due to the graphic nature of the dissection, it is advised that parents do not bring young children. Our preserved specimen is ethically sourced from a biological supply company.
Advanced registration is required. General admission is $12 per participant, and $10 for members of the Montana Audubon Center. Interested in becoming a member? Please follow this link to learn more!
