This show will be open to the public and live-streamed from the 3rd Street Facebook page. THE BROWN MOUNTAIN LIGHTNING BUGS will be our featured performer with the show starting at 8:00 PM EST. GARY MARCHESANO will open at 7:30 PM EST. The LiveStream feed will begin at 7:30 PM. At 8:00 PM EST, we welcome back The Brown Mountain Lightning Bugs! Kendra and Zack Harding make The Brown Mountain Lightning Bugs, a folk(ish)/Americana duo hailing from Winston-Salem, NC. Zack and Kendra blend the traditional with the trippy to create original music they like to call folk(ish). Officially formed in 2016, the two have played extensively throughout the southeast, including spots at the Ol' Front Porch Music Festival, Awendaw Green, and The Crown at the Carolina Theatre. While the Bugs know that only tacos and pets can make everyone happy, they aim to create a concoction of sounds that gets a lot of toes tapping and heads bobbing, and maybe make a few friends along the way. At 7:30 PM EST, we welcome singer-songwriter Gary Marchesano to the stage. Gary is a member of the Southwest Virginia Songwriter Association and frequently performs at open mics around Roanoke.

Now in our 39th year, 3rd Street Coffeehouse is a non-profit listening room run by volunteers and never has a cover charge. We ask that you support our musicians by contributing to the real or virtual hat, which will be identified during the performance.
