You guys wanted it and I’m super excited for it 💚This is a Live Music Skills Workshop is for girls, trans and non-binary young people aged 14-18 who want to build confidence in live performance.
The workshop covers both creative and technical side of live music including:
- Song writing & artistic development
- Stage presence & performance skills
- Live sound production basics
- Understanding & using your gear
- Working with sound engineers
- Sound Engineer Q&A
The aim is to give more underrepresented young people the confidence to take part in all aspects of live music, whether that’s performing on stage or understanding what happens behind the scenes.
The workshop will be on the 17th of August at the Palladium Club, Bideford. You have the option to attend the whole day or either the morning or afternoon session.
This is the first workshop we’re running, but if there’s enough interest from people outside the 14-18 age group, we’d love to organise future workshops, particularly focused on live sound production and technical skills.
