Join us in the Backroom Bar at Compass Point, home of Dirty Girl Adventures, for an evening of singing, storytelling, and authentic old school blues, folk, and ragtime from Nichols and Millspaugh. We think you'll love this duo; they are a dynamic combination of fingerstyle and bottleneck slide guitar, and harmonica — Nichols and Millspaugh provide their audience with 1920s-40s American styles of blues, folk, and ragtime. Music from a time when it was raw and diverse, but now all too rarely heard.
Their talents enable them, with just two instruments, to really fill out the music — creating dynamic layers of sound, feeling, and energy.
They play the blues Muddy, Buddy, and The Wolf grew up listening to—old school instrumentals and songs the way blues began, two musicians playing everything from country blues to ragtime, and more. Like they say, “blues from the delta and beyond.”

There is limited seating available in The Backroom Bar. You can purchase tickets online or in person at Compass Point during any event.
The Backroom Bar at Compass Point, home of Dirty Girl Adventures, is an intimate setting for live music, allowing every person in the space to see, hear, and interact with the performers. We don't have food. You are allowed to bring your dinner or snacks; you can also have dinner delivered. We have many offerings at the bar, from event drink specials to mocktails and soda. We have something you'll want.
Compass Point is part of the NOTO Common Consumption Area. This allows you to purchase an alcoholic beverage from a licensed CCA vendor and walk through the Common Consumption Area. All drinks within the CCA MUST be in a branded cup from one of the licensed CCA vendors within the NOTO Arts District.
