The Hunter Hughes Band is a red dirt and country band that is becoming well known for their high-energy performances and authentic sound. Led by Hunter Hughes on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, the group has cultivated a musical style that blends red dirt roots with rock and roll flair—a mix that has become their signature.
Hunter’s journey into music began at 18 when he picked up a guitar inspired by local musicians. This natural progression led him to songwriting and eventually to forming the band in 2021. He describes their love for music and performing as the driving force behind their success. The band’s influences include Oklahoma’s very own, Cross Canadian Ragweed.
Check out their music on before the show!
