HORSE McDonald returns to one of her favourite places in the world (and we are VERY excited! đ¤Š)HORSE is an iconic and utterly unique singer/songwriter, her voice described as âa finely honed instrumentâ, together with âbreathtaking stagecraftâ. Her music is both moving and uplifting, the audience are totally absorbed whenever she performs.
With a successful career expanding over three decades, she has opened and toured with various international artists, including Tina Turner, BB King, Bryan Ferry, Burt Bacarach. One of her best known songs, Careful, was covered by Will Young.
In a special Trio show created for The Rockfield Centre, there are songs and tales from her legendary career from over many years of performing, touring, and recording. This is a rare opportunity to hear stripped back versions from her back catalogue, and some songs that donât always make the full band shows. As she is now writing towards her new album (her 13th!) there will also be an opportunity to hear some new material.
