🌱 A Grateful Dead show was never just a concert. It was a world that formed around the music, in parking lots, in trades, in small acts of generosity between strangers. We're honoring that world on March 21 with LIVE MUSIC: Deadhead Equinox Party w/ STATE 38.
The MIRACLE TICKET was real. Someone outside holding up one finger, silently asking. And someone always came through with an extra. We're keeping that tradition alive with a few covered admissions behind the bar for anyone who needs one. Just ask.
SHAKEDOWN STREET was the marketplace that appeared before every show. Makers, artists, tie-dye, crystals, handmade everything. We're bringing that spirit inside the ZU. If you're a local maker who wants to set up, email [email protected] with a description of what you'd like to sell. Spots are limited and we want to make room for you.
HEADY TRADES were how Deadheads connected. Pins, patches, handmade goods passed between new friends as gifts. Our trade table will be going all night. Bring something. Take something.
And if you show up early and there's a line? That's THE LOT SCENE. The part of a Dead show that happened before the show. Lean in. Talk to the person next to you. You already have something in common.
