Scott Brinckley is a Blue Mountains–based guitarist and songwriter known for his soulful blend of funk, jazz, and contemporary grooves. A Southern Cross University graduate in Contemporary Music, he studied under renowned Australian jazz educator Jim Kelly before diving into a wide range of musical projects - from African-inspired ensemble Aradoola to indie outfit Vincent & the Child.
In 2001 he released Downstream, a nine-track album recorded with John Stuart, and has since become a familiar creative force in the local scene.
Scott’s latest project, Tree of Us, brings warm vocals, electric bass, guitar and improvisation together in a fresh, genre-blending sound - timeless, soulful, and always full of surprises.
