About Jen: With a voice described as "sultry and soulful, mixed with gritty conviction," singer-songwriter Jen Ambrose delivers a compelling blend of blues, folk, jazz, Americana, and rock. This Medford-based multi-instrumentalist weaves together guitar, mandolin, flute, and percussion with influences ranging from Delta blues and swing jazz to classic rock and world music. A frequent performer throughout the Northwest who's opened for artists like Michael Franti & Spearhead, Jackie Greene, and folk legend Donovan, Jen performs solo and with various collaborators, offering original material and eclectic covers with genuine musicianship and wide appeal.
