The Regulars
"Meet 'The Regulars' ! This vibrant indie band from Burlington, Ontario is reshaping the music diaspora with their rich tapestry of Americana, Country, Folk, Indie, and Soft Rock influences. They're not your ordinary band, they're a captivating blend of the classic and the contemporary. Light a spark to your musical senses, let 'The Regulars' take you on a free-spirited journey through the untraveled terrains of indie music!
The band is composed of lead vocalist, songwriter, and founder Aleks Jurcev, his fellow Burlington Central High School alumni and pals, Oliver Lethbridge and David Castano, and lead guitarist Adam Teichman from Toronto. They recorded their debut album in Summer 2022, assisted by Juno award-winning producer Justin Koop. These guys have an immense passion for performing, recording, writing and collaborating on new material.
The band is extremely excited and thrilled for their first performance in The Edison Room at The Block Co., in their hometown, which will feature new material they will be recording this year. Don't miss this!"
Sean Bienhaus
"From the outskirts of Hamilton, Ontario, Sean is an independent singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and artist. Sean began as a guitarist, playing in a number of groups during his time in high school, until one day, his high school experience was abruptly stopped.
The rapid-onset of the COVID-19 pandemic changed everything and forced Sean to reconsider what and how he created. He had always wanted to create something more, and decided to broaden his skillset beyond lead guitar, becoming interested in singing, writing, and producing his own music.
Following a set of singles (”Would” and “Pretty Thing”), Sean released his first studio album “You Won’t Ever Know” in 2021, which mixed styles of indie rock and singer/songwriter music. Sean’s songs are rooted in the struggles of the human experience. They meditate on time, death, love, andfamily and describe the hardships that surround these concepts while still maintaining a sense of hope and wonder.
Following the release of his debut album, he decided to pursue live performance, and began playing as a solo act at various events and establishments across Southern Ontario, occasionally bringing along his backing band: “The Satellites”.
After nearly two years, Sean is back to releasing music, with a new series of songs, led by the new single “Bonebreaker”, a song about the sadness that waits around every corner."
