Schneider, a full force practitioner of ambient New Age, whom over the past half decade of time--whilst helping to ignite a movement affectionately known in certain environs as Ambient Country--has singlehandedly taken a radical new approach to the versatile and cosmic instrument known as the steel guitar; a total reinvention of an iconic instrument. There has never been anything quite like what Schneider has accomplished with an instrument so intrinsically linked with Country Music. Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, with his weapon of choice...a vintage Emmons Push/Pull pedal steel guitar. Mr. Schneider is a new age Cosmic Cowboy in every sense of the word.
