See you there!
Mancunian music-maker Ellen Beth Abdi uses live loops, pokey drums, undulating synths and quietly subversive lyrics to mould her unique sound.
Hesta Banks stepped onto the scene earlier this year with her jazz-guitar saturated debut single, 'Follow the News’, which was written, recorded, mixed and mastered entirely in her bedroom. She was recently featured as Independent Artist of the Week on Ian “H” Watkins’ BBC Radio Wales show, ‘Friday Night H’. Based in Bristol, via Auckland and Seattle, Hesta Banks is returning to her northern roots for her first ever solo gig.
“I am absolutely in love with your music… I would come to your gig, and I would sip a gin & tonic, sit back and just enjoy. I actually adore you.” - H from Steps, BBC Radio Wales
