Visit the ancient shell midden Site, learn the history of the maunga and have a go! A free, fun, whanau friendly event. Shell midden sites are archaeological deposits consisting primarily of accumulated shell debris, along with food remains, tools, and ash from human occupation.
This event is facilitated by the Puketaapapa Te Rangahau Research Project and supported by the Tupuna Maunga Authority and Roskill Development
