Ian MacPhee is a musician, video artist, and photographer based in Los Angeles, California. His music blends acoustic instruments, electronics, and field recordings to create dense, textural soundscapes. MacPhee’s studio work centers on process-based compositions that explore harmony, movement, and intricate layering, while his live performances reinterpret these works in a fluid and improvisational manner.
Many Hands (David Henderson) is a record collector, radio host, and ambient musician. His radio shows are as likely to pull transcendence from a piece recorded by an ambient musician in a studio last year, as one recorded by an ethnographer in an unknown fiddler’s kitchen decades ago.
