Playhouse of Wilson is thrilled to celebrate Women’s History Month with an homage to one of the greatest stories of women’s strength, identity, and the sisterhood of womankind. Louisa May Alcott’s novel “Little Women” has been thoughtfully reimagined through the words of playwright Kate Hamill and the brilliant direction of Hannah Slaughter. To further our impact, we are also partnering with the Wesley Shelter by collecting donations to help support women and children who are survivors of domestic violence and abuse.Play tickets are available on our website, playhouseofwilson.com, as well as in-person at the Wilson Arts Council in downtown Wilson. Group rates of 10+ will receive a group rate. Barton students may receive FREE tickets with student ID, but due to limited seating, tickets must be reserved in advance at the link.
Special thanks to our Platinum Sponsors @Life 101.3 and @Barton College for their support of this production! Remember to bring your donation to support the @Wesley Shelter and receive an entry in the raffle for 2 free tickets to our next production (“Bridges of Madison County” in the spring).
