Little Tokyo Farmers' Market Youth Tour and Activities

Activities are designed for youth participants, but are open to all ages.

First 30 youth participants [under 18] to register receive $25 in market money to spend after the tour.

Farmer Q&A:

Ask you local farmer questions about growing produce in CA.

Nutrition education class:

Learn about locally grown, seasonal produce, nutrients, health benefits, peak season and more + take home a handout and free coloring book

Recipe demonstration:

Watch a recipe demonstration, try a taste-test, and receive a take home recipe card

Produce sampling:

Sample up to 4 different kinds of locally grown produce.

Art activity:

Create seasonal produce prints with paint & designs.
