About this Event

Little Shop of Horrors is a horror comedy rock musical with music by Alan Menken and lyrics and a book by Howard Ashman. Meek flower shop assistant Seymour pines for his co-worker Audrey. During a total eclipse of the sun, Seymour discovers an unusual plant he names Audrey II, which feeds only on human flesh and blood. The growing plant attracts a great deal of business for the previously struggling store. After Seymour feeds Audrey's abusive boyfriend, Orin, to the plant after Orin's accidental death, he must come up with more bodies for the increasingly bloodthirsty plant.

This production may not be suitable for all children. While it's a fun and campy musical, some scenes and themes might be scary or disturbing for younger or more sensitive viewers. The musical includes violence, mature language, a prop gun, and themes of domestic abuse, as well as special effects like abrupt lighting changes and fog. Parental/guardian discretion advised. Our sensory-friendly open dress rehearsal on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 7pm will be slightly more kid-friendly, with harsher elements toned down.
