About this Event
GMAC is excited to present Little Pictures at Refugee Festival Scotland, where we will be showcasing a range of short films made on the scheme that centre migrantion and refugee stories.
Refugee Festival Scotland is an arts and cultural festival that provides people from refugee backgrounds with a dedicated platform to showcase their creativity, heritage and contributions to life in Scotland.
The Little Pictures scheme, a short film development and comissioning programme, has been running for over 6 years. Since then we've had a number of wonderful filmmakers telling stories, both personal and political, about migration, displacement and seeking refuge. We're delighted to be screening a selection of these films at this year's Refugee Festival Scotland, sharing stories through fiction, documentary, experimental and animation genres.
After the short films screen, we'll be discussing the films with the filmmakers themselves and invite audience members to contribute questions, thoughts and feelings.
