Join Anyika Naila Mark from the Little Jamaica Community Land Trust for an evening exploration of this vibrant Afro-Caribbean cultural district and build anticipation for the return of the Afro-Caribbean Farmers' Market on Saturday, June 28th!
Tours take place rain or shine, please dress for the weather, bring a waterbottle and wear comfortable shoes. This tour is led in English and includes walking approximately 1-2km. If you require support to be able to fully participate in the tour please let us know so that we can accommodate you!
This tour is one of a series offered through marketcityTO as part of Toronto's Public Markets Week (June 6-13) in partnership with the Little Jamaica Community Land Trust and is part of the #ILoveTorontoMarkets campaign.
This project has been funded by the City of Toronto's Economic Development and Culture Division. Thanks to this funding support, we are able to offer this tour free of charge. The $5 registration fee is to secure your spot, however each person attending will receive a $5+ complimentary tasting.
