About this Event

Enjoy story time with author Katie, followed by a fun activity to make you own ‘Little Glow’ to take home!

Book Blurb:

As the nights draw in, a small and lonely flame watches the many inspiring ways that communities celebrate light throughout the year, wishing to be bolder and brighter. As a family gathers around Little Glow, it becomes clear that even the smallest of lights have an important purpose.

A rhyming story of hope, which champions the introvert and introduces readers to religious and cultural festivals, including Diwali, Hanukkah, Ramadan and Chinese New Year.

Author Bio:

Katie Sahota is a passionate writer with a strong belief in the power of books and writing to tackle important issues such as identity, inclusion and race, using her experiences of a gender-biased career and as the mother of two mixed race girls with her South-Asian husband.
