Description: In this class, children will get a quick and exciting introduction to the fascinating features that make birds unique, such as their colorful feathers, beaks designed for different foods, and the songs they use to communicate. We’ll also talk about the best places to spot birds, from treetop branches and open fields to ponds and forest edges, and learn a few simple tips for observing them quietly. After this overview, kids will set out on a nature hike to look and listen for birds in their natural habitats, putting their new knowledge into practice while experiencing the joy of birdwatching firsthand.Each Participant ticket will receive a Beak Feet and Feather booklet to take home.
Children under 5 do not receive the booklet unless you choose to purchase one.
