Join our volunteers at Plastic Free Nantwich to litter pick along the River Weaver adjacent to Manor Road between Nantwich Leisure Centre and Barony Road. Volunteers of all ages are welcome. If you are new to Nantwich, want to give back to the community, or are looking to meet new people this is a great opportunity to do so. Come along for as long as you can, and help keep our town tidy. Our efforts contribute to a nationwide initiative to raise awareness about litter and lobby big businesses to take responsibility for packaging of their products.
Litter picking equipment will be provided. Please wear strong footwear and weather appropriate clothing - who knows whether it'll be cold, hot or windy! Meet us outside Nantwich Leisure Centre at ready for the Health & Safety briefing at 10:00.
We're looking forward to seeing you and making a difference to our town. You are welcome to join us for anything from 30 minutes to 2 hours, every little helps.
