Before the festive period really kicks into gear, we're carrying out an event along the Ely River. On Wednesday 3rd December 2025 we'll be tackling invasive non-native cherry laurel along the Ely River near Fairwater, but also litter picking the site. After our previous successful events, we'll be going back to make even more of a dent, and try and create more biodiversity in the area.
We'll be meeting on Landwade Close @ 10.00 then taking a short walk down to the Ely Trail along the river. The meeting point is on a residential street so please be respectful of the locals.
Gloves, tools and hi-viz vests will be supplied. Probably some mince pies too!
