About this Event
Help us clean up our local creek on Saturday 18 April.
We will meet at Cutting Reserve, Padstow before having a short safety demonstration then heading down the creek for a guided bushwalk, where Canterbury Bankstown Council staff will show off our native flora, fauna and sandstone formations.
After that we will take a bag, litter-picker and gloves and head back up the creek, picking up litter in sections from the creek and mangroves.
A light lunch, some drinking water and soft drinks will be provided in Cutting Reserve for when the litter-picking is complete.
This event is part of City of Canterbury Bankstown's We Love our Rivers 2026 campaign, assisted by Georges Riverkeeper.
NOTE: This event is for children over 8 only, as the site is unsuitable for prams or children under 8 years old.
