Nestled within the heart of Sherwood Forest lies an enchanting eco-camp, the setting for LITHA, a nature-based gathering created to honour the Summer Solstice and support holistic health and well-being 🌿🌞💜LITHA was born as a tribute to my beautiful mum, Mary who deeply loved this time of year. After she passed in 2018, something shifted in me. I stopped putting my dream on hold and this gathering became my way of turning grief into meaning, and creating a space where others can breathe again too.
LITHA is about stepping out of the noise of everyday life and returning to what truly nourishes us.
🌱🌞There are no rigid schedules and no pressure to perform. You’re invited to slow down, rest your nervous system, reconnect with nature, and spend time with like-minded people who value calm, connection, and authenticity.
Through holistic workshops, shared rituals, woodland walks, and evenings around the fire 🔥, each day offers space to reconnect with the earth, with others, and with yourself.
This is not a luxury retreat.
It’s a real gathering of tents, campervans, caravans or even hamacks, trees, sunsets, firelight, belly laughs, deep breaths… and that familiar feeling of coming home to yourself 🌳✨
🌿🌞 What to Expect
🔥 A fire lit on Thursday and lovingly tended all weekend
🌄 Sunset walk every evening a simple, powerful pause at the end of the day
🌿 Holistic workshops (included, optional, and gently held)
🌞 A Summer Solstice ceremony on Saturday.
💜 Space to honour loved ones we carry in our hearts
✨ This year, LITHA will also include a handfasting ceremony, a sacred celebration of love and commitment, woven into the Solstice ritual 🤍
🔥 The Burning of the Wishing Branch
Each person is invited to place a wish or intention onto a wooden heart, which is tied to a fallen branch. After the ceremony, the wishes are gently released into the fire, symbolising letting go, trust, and sending intentions out into the world 🌬️🔥
💜🌞🥗 Bring & Share Food
After the burning of the wishing branch, we come together as a community to share food. Everyone brings something simple to contribute, whether that’s a dish, snacks, or something ready-made and we eat together on the green (This year there will be a list to choose from, so we have a varity of food)
(It’s about connection, not perfection.)
People often arrive as strangers… and leave feeling like family 💜🌿
