Listening the Old City ?
About the Event An immersive listening experience through the historic streets of Ahmedabad’s Old City. This workshop invites participants to slow down and notice the everyday sounds that shape the city.
We will walk through the area, listen carefully to the surrounding soundscape, and record moments from the streets, markets, and neighbourhoods. Participants will also interpret these sounds through quick sketches and create short “audio postcards” from the recordings.
Open to anyone interested in sound, cities, storytelling, or exploring Ahmedabad in a new way. No prior experience required.
