Born in Cuba, raised in Miami before decamping for Paris, Liset Alea is best known as lead singer of Nouvelle Vague for 8 years. The culture-hopping cosmolatina has recently returned to Miami. An emotion-driven vocalist exploring songs in French, English and Spanish, she and her trio will share new songs and old faves that reflect her globetrotting influences, from Françoise Hardy-vibe French pop to bossa-chic to eclectic tunes all her own.
