Liquid Bloom, founded by producer and sonic alchemist Amani Friend (co-founder of Desert Dwellers and curator of the Desert Trax label), is a visionary world-electronic project dedicated to creating immersive and transformative sound experiences. Emerging in the late 1990s from explorations in music for healing modalities, the project has evolved into a global bridge between ancient traditions and modern production, offering listeners portals into ceremony, dance, and deep inner journeys.
Liquid Bloom’s music merges world instrumentation, transcendent vocals, and sacred musical traditions with modern electronic production. Collaborations with artists such as Poranguí, Janax Pacha, Bloomurian, Mose, Deya Dova, Ixchel Prisma, Savej, and many others have shaped an ever-expanding body of work that flows seamlessly between meditative ambient soundscapes, downtempo grooves, and ecstatic dancefloor energy. This versatility has made Liquid Bloom equally at home headlining international festivals including Boom, Ozora, Envision, Rainbow Serpent, Dreamersland, and Colours of Ostrava, while also serving as a powerful musical foundation for breathwork journeys, psychedelic-assisted therapy, cacao ceremonies, and ecstatic dance gatherings around the world.
Beyond the music itself, Liquid Bloom has become a vessel for conscious culture and transformational work. The project has woven sound around spoken-word teachings by visionaries such as Paul Stamets, Dr. Joe Dispenza, and Ram Dass, helping carry wisdom traditions into modern contexts through music. Through the Desert Trax label, co-founded by Amani Friend, a global community of artists has emerged, expanding the reach of this music into festivals, healing spaces, and conscious gatherings worldwide.
