Following on from their sell-out Norwich performances in 2023 and 2024 Cure tribute Liqueur return once again to the Maddermarket Theatre on Good Friday 2026 to celebrate their 20th year since forming.Liqueur began as a tongue-in-cheek idea in 2006: a food-themed Cure tribute band. After playful puns like “A Forest Gateaux,” the group sobered up and chose a more traditional path—though the name stuck. Formed by Norfolk music veterans Mark, Daz, and Chris, they evolved from Britpop roots into a Cure tribute act, debuting live in 2007. With Gary and later Si joining, Liqueur became a five-piece band. Passionate lifelong fans, they replicate The Cure’s sound, style, and gear with obsessive detail. Gigging across the UK, they’ve earned praise like “You sound more like The Cure than The Cure!”—and they wouldn’t have it any other way.

Extra special support is from another Norwich legend, singer songrwriter Holly Lerski!
“A formidable artist” (Music Republic Magazine), British musician Holly Lerski has been playing music since she got her first instrument — a child’s tin drum kit — at the age of four. Founding member and songwriter for the 90’s folk-rock band Angelou, she released her recent album, Sweet Decline in 2024 - a song cycle written on a solo rail and road trip she took through America in 2019. Produced in Nashville by Matt “Truck” Roley and featuring the Milwaukee-raised sibling duo SistaStrings, the record struck a chord with both audiences and reviewers alike, receiving widespread praise for her storytelling. Uncut Magazine called her Americana collection "canyon rock beauties".
