Known for their show stopping appearance, venomous spines and damage to local reefs, invasive lionfish are the first non-native marine fish to become established in the Atlantic. Since 2006, REEF has been working in close partnership with government agencies and partners throughout the region to help develop lionfish response plans., train resources managers and dive operations in effective and safe collection methods and conduct research to help address the invasion. Join us to learn more about the history of the invasion, REEF's response, and the public's involvement in managing invasive lionfish. Join us and our speaker, Mead Krowka, for a lecture on lion fish. Our reception will begin at 6:30pm and the lecture will start promptly at 7:30pm. Join us via zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81689601259
