Join artist Rebecca Prince as she guides you through the basics on how to create your own 'linocut prints.' A greater 'taster' session for beginners, bring a friend and enjoy a lovely evening getting creative!What: Introduction to Lino relief printing with Rebecca Prince. Come along for a fun session learning the basics of lino carving and printing. During the session you will learn: how to compose a basic design, how to carve it (soft rubber options available) and how to print by hand onto paper without the use of a printing press.
There will be pre drawn designs available for participants, alternatively you can draw your own.
We recommend bringing some inspiration (keeping copyright in mind) if you would like to create your own designs.
All other materials will be supplied.
