About this Event
In this session, you’ll explore the process of carving, inking, and printing your own unique artwork.
You’ll begin by learning the fundamentals of lino printing - from safely carving your design to achieving rich, even prints. A pre-drawn design will be available for anyone who prefers to focus on the meditative carving process, while those feeling adventurous can sketch and carve their own winter scene.
The carving stage is slow, relaxing, and almost meditative, while the inking and printing process brings energy and excitement as your image comes to life on paper. By the end of the class, you’ll take home up to 5 prints of your design - perfect as gifts or to frame and display!
New to lino printing?
This workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike. Whether you come on your own or bring a friend, you’ll enjoy a fun, inspiring morning of creativity and connection.
All materials will be provided. Please bring your own apron or wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little inky!
You’re welcome to BYOB and enjoy your hot or cold drink while you print!
