A relaxed, beginner-friendly printmaking session. Create, carve and print your own linoprint designs.
About this Event

Lino printing
The appeal of lino printing is in it's simplicity, resulting in unique and satisfying prints every time in a variety of colours. It's a low-tech, hands-on process that allows for a lot of experimenting and creativity. Plus once you have your design you can print forever.

At Artidote’s central Norwich studio, you’ll learn how to design, carve and hand-print your own lino artwork in a small, artist-led session.

Perfect for beginners across Norfolk and East Anglia, our sessions focus on creativity over perfection. You’ll be guided and free to create your own design with all materials included, and leave with finished prints.

Whether you’re booking a solo creative escape, a date, or time with friends, this is hands-on printmaking in a welcoming environment.

Leaving you feeling inspired and in touch with expressing your creativity.

What to Expect at our Norwich Lino Printing Workshop

You’ll be welcomed into the Artidote studio and guided through the printmaking process.

We start loose. No intensity. No seriousness.

We begin with simple design ideas and mark-making techniques, helping you understand how lino works, what to cut, what to leave, how images translate into print. THere will be plenty of design reference to inspire you.

Then comes the fun part:

  • Carving your design.
  • Rolling the ink.
  • Pressing your print.
  • The first reveal.

I'll be on hand to guide you, keeping things relaxed, fun and enjoyable. No complicated jargon. No art-school intensity.

By the end of the session, you’ll have produced your own printed pieces to take home.
